Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves inserting very fine needles into the skin, to alleviate pain and to treat various physical, mental, internal and emotional conditions. Originating in ancient China, acupuncture is now widely practiced in the West. This produces a relaxed physical state and a calm mind. Dr. Whitehead has performed acupuncture on patients as young as five years old and is very comfortable with treating children. Her gentle technique and reassurance assures a comfortable and relaxing treatment.
A 90 Minute appointment with a full body evaluation and consultation, acupuncture treatment, herbal prescription and one add-on. The herbal formula is an additional cost.
Acupuncture can treat any condition that you would normally see a Western or Conventional Medicine doctor to treat, in addition to any symptoms you would typically treat as a minor to major inconvenience.

This is all done through an acupuncture treatment. Studying directly with Mikio Sankey, over a 3 year period. Dr. Whitehead brings a special touch to Esoteric Acupuncture.
Massage
Tuina massage is a medical massage that has been used in the east for centuries to promote healing of soft tissues, to reduce stress, treat pain and improve internal organ function. Using massage techniques such as acupressure, myofascial release, manual manipulation and intention, it will improve synergy between muscles and bones and their surrounding tissues.

Drift off with the sound healing of Tibetan bowls and tuning forks, as the vibrations massage every cell in your body. This raises your frequency and eases you into a relaxed and meditative state. Following the sound bath, is a 50 minute massage on a heated, amethyst Biomat, combined with a grounding organic essential oil and hot towels.

Pediatric Massage

Pediatric Tuina is a gentle massage therapy specifically designed for young infants and children, between the age of 3 months old to 6 years old. It involves gentle stimulation of acupoints along the meridians through rhythmic kneading, rubbing, and tapping to improve energy circulation, relieve discomforts and enhance overall wellness in your child.

Herbal Consult

Herbal and nutritional supplement consultation and prescription for up to two complaints. Herbs and supplements are an additional charge. A shift is expected within 3 to 10 days on all herbal prescriptions. A change in lab work will be typically seen within 6 weeks and normalization in labs between 3 and 6 months.
Fire Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient healing technique that involves placing heated cups on the skin to create suction. The cups are left in place for a few minutes and massaged around sore muscles. Cupping increases blood flow and circulation to the affected area, while releasing muscle tension. This therapy can also help the acupuncture and massage session to last longer.
Gua Sha

Gua Sha, or scraping massage, is an ancient Chinese technique that is used to break up obstructions and knots in the soft tissue and muscles. It also helps to move lymph fluid and swelling. Gus Sha is regularly used in tendonitis, arthritis, muscle pain, and joint restrictions.
Ear Seeds

Auricular Therapy is a reflexology treatment done on the exterior ear. Clear band-aid like strips are used with either seeds or needles, depending on the preference of the patient. These stay in for up to 10 days and activate the reflexology point to treat complaints.
Swarovski crystals are placed on clear adhesive strip with ear seed on the underside. These preform as the regular ear seeds but with crystals instead of plain adhesive tape.

Scar & Stretch Mark Treatment

Microneedling or acupuncture to treat scarring, or stretch marks with the apple stem cell serum combined with the elastin serum. Microneedling can not be used on keloid scarring.
Microneedling with Serum for Hair Loss
